Members of the Skagway Borough Assembly took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Wednesday after a work session. They were challenged by students of the Skagway School’s 5th and 6th grade class, and they then challenged the Haines Borough Assembly. During the challenge, the assembly discussed how the disease has hit home, with three residnets dying from ALS in the last ten years. The ALS Challenge is sweeping media and has raised more than $94.3 million since July 29.
