Assembly members agreed to remove a pollution insurance clause from Orion Hanson’s fence contract with Little Dippers.

Hanson was awarded the contract, had purchased the materials, and was then made aware of the indemnification clause, which would cost Hanson an extra $1,500 for insurance.

As Hanson had not been previously aware of the clause, he asked that it be removed from his contract.

Borough assembly members agreed, with only assemblymen Spencer Morgan and Steve Burnham Jr. voting against it.
