Before agreeing to a Commercial Passenger Vessel excise tax study, borough assembly members have asked for Skagway Borough Manager Scott Hahn to provide more information.

The assembly reviewed a 2008 proposal from Jim Van Altvorst, of Van Altvorst and Associates, from a similar study that cost $7,939.

While assembly members agreed a study was important, they asked that Hahn look into it more before making any decisions.
