A missing dog was turned in to the impound. The dog was later picked up by its owner.

November 23rd
An automatic emergency call was made regarding a fire alarm system. The building’s supervisor was contacted.

A report of a suspicious vehicle was made.

Multiple reports were made regarding loud, barking dogs. The officer on duty was unable to locate the dogs.

November 24th
A report was made of a burglary alarm at a local business. The building’s supervisor was contacted.

A winter watchman light was reported in a local home.

November 25th
An officer assisted with a vehicle lockout.

A report was made regarding a dog attack at 7 Pastures, owner of the aggressive dog has not been identified.

Dustin Hansen, 41 of Skagway was  arrested on suspicion of Disorderly Conduct-Domestic Violence.

A request for the On Duty Provider was received.
EMS responded to an emergency call.
November 26th

The Fire Department responded to three automatic fire alarms.

November 27th
A request for the On Duty Provider was received.

EMS conducted a scheduled medevac.

November 29th

A request for the On Duty Provider was received.

Tekla S. Helgason, 46 of Skagway pleaded not guilty to charges of Forgery in the 3rd Degree, criminal trial pending.

Police assisted a motorist in unlocking his vehicle.

Police advised an out of state motorist, who was camped along the highway, to be aware of snow plows coming through in the morning.

Police assisted a motorist in unlocking her vehicle.

December 1st
EMS responded to a medical emergency.

A woman reported finding a stolen bike at a local residence.
EMS assisted with a scheduled medevac.

December 2nd
Police assisted a motorist in unlocking his vehicle.

Fire personnel assisted with retrieving a sunken skiff at the Small Boat Harbor.

December 3rd
Police assisted a local business with an   intrusion alarm. It was determined the alarm was caused by a door which was blown open by the wind.

December 4th
Marie Carr Thomas, 53, of Ohio was arrested on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

An IPhone was reported lost.

December 5th
Police assisted the National Park Service with a burglary alarm at a downtown location. The alarm was determined to be false.

Multiple EWS alarms were received due to the power outage.

December 6th
Fire personnel responded to a fire alarm at the Ferry Terminal. It was determined the alarm was caused by broken water pipes.

Fire personnel responded to an EWS alarm at the school.
