Chutes and ladders
Before heading out on a tour, a streetcar driver gleefully pointed out the pink salmon schooling in front of a ship on the Broadway Dock as they awaited their turn at the Pullen Creek fish ladder. She then took the group to the other side of the dock to show them the structure, where hundreds of fish were going up the ladder.
A visitor then pointed to the steel ladder that accesses the structure from the parking lot, and exclaimed, “Wow, is that the ladder they climb?”
All cracked up
“Why do they have the wooden sidewalks with the cracks in between? So the snow can fall off?”
