Students in the Fourth and Fifth Grade classes release a batch of young salmon (which are called fry) into Pullen Creek on Jan. 24. The release was the cap to a program for students K-5 facilitated by the Taiya Inlet Watershed Council, which began in August 2017. After the release, students went back to the school for activities, and the K-2 classes came out later in the day to release another wave of the small fry.
