Dispatch received a report of an alleged dog attack.

A lost phone was turned in to SPD. The owner was contacted regarding the location of the phone.

Dispatch assisted an individual with contacting the On-Duty Provider.

Dispatch coordinated with National Park Service and local officers regarding a missing hiker on the Chilkoot Trail. The hiker later contacted NPS to confirm that he was safe and in Skagway again.

 

July 15th

Dispatch coordinated with local officers, Fire Department and Search & Rescue personnel to locate a missing hiker beginning around 00:00. The hiker was safely located later in the morning after spending the night lost and off the trail.

Dispatch received a report of threatening emails that were allegedly attempting to defraud the reporting party.
