The ships are gone. The seasonal workers are gone.
Now it’s just the locals left in town. Come join your neighbors on Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Skagway School, as we welcome Vusi Mahlasela, South African musician, poet and activist into our little corner of the Lynn Canal for a night of soulful music.
Mahlasela’s songwriting became iconic for South Africans resisting Apartheid, and his songs have been heard all over the world.
It’s a rare treat to have him share his music with us.
You can learn more about this artist and his story at www.vusimahlasela.com.
