The Skagway Lady Panthers volleyball team had mixed results at Haines on Oct. 18 and 19, with the varsity team taking two losses and the junior varsity winning their two matchups.

On the varsity side, Skagway lost to Haines 22-25 in their first game and 23-25 in the second.

The junior varsity squad won 25-20 in the first game and 25-23 in the second.

Coming up Friday through Sunday, Oct. 25-27, teams from Wrangell, Craig, Haines, Klawock, Metlakatla and Petersburg will make their way to Skagway for the Region V 2A seeding tournament.

During the weekend tournament, Skagway will first face off against Wrangell at 7 p.m. Oct. 25.

On Oct. 26, Skagway will go against Craig at 11 a.m., Petersburg at 1 p.m. and match up against Haines again at 6 p.m.

For Oct. 27, Skagway will play Klawock at 8 a.m. and Metlakatla at 11 a.m.
